Dasha Van Ryad won her first National title winning the 2003 Brazilian National Junior Filly Championship after other two important wins at the Campos do Jordão and Avaré shows. Due her huge success in Brazil, Haras Vanguarda decided to sent her to United States to compete there with Greg Gallun during the 2004 season.
