Extremely correct and well-balanced horse, with a lot of attitude and movement, Rashid Van Ryad represents the maintenance of the blood of Ryad El Jamaal in Haras Vanguarda's breeding program. Considered as the immediate reserve to his great father, Rashid was named 2000 Brazilian National Colt and Golden Colt Champion, the highest awards a two-year-old colt can reach in Brazil, and recently added a new title to his show record: 2002 Brazilian National Young Stallion Champion. Full brother to Star Van Ryad, another Brazilian National Golden Filly Champion, Rashid had his first get born in 2002.
